MISSION
Founded in 1928, Alpha Tau Delta is a professional nursing organization committed to providing an intra-fraternal spirit of cooperation by offering opportunities for nursing students to promote their personal and intellectual growth through education, networking, scholarships, guidance and a collective responsibility to the fraternity. Alpha Tau Delta seeks to achieve an environment that fosters excellence of individual performance, philanthropy, advancement of education, character enrichment, and leadership. |

MEMBERSHIP General Members:
Active Members: In order to be considered active for the quarter, members must attend the following per quarter: (CATEGORIES ARE COLOR CODED) Bachelors of Science Nursing Program (BS) - 5 points
Masters Entry Clinical Nurse (MECN) - 4 points
Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRN) - 3 points
Look out for BONUS POINTS! These points can be applied to any category that a member is yet to fulfill. A maximum of 2 Bonus Points may be used towards active membership. Bonus points exceeding the maximum of 2 will only count as extra points added to the overall total point score. The active member with the most points will be awarded a prize at the End of the Year Banquet. Benefits: An active member is eligible to apply for Alpha Tau Delta National and Alumni scholarships and will receive an Alpha Tau Delta's graduation cord. Certificates of recognition will be given to active members and to the most active member in each cohort. These certificates can proudly be showcased in one's own professional portfolio.
